Payment information and instructions for Educator Affiliates

The following is a brief guide of payments required as part of your affiliation with National Marriage Centers.

1. Upon completion of your affiliate application you will be directed to the PayPal account web site. It is important that you set up a PayPal account for two reasons.

First, there is a $20.00 per month affiliation fee after the initial FREE period.. This entitles you to be listed in our National Directory with your full profile and services you provide. In Addition you will be part of the Google Ad Word Advertising Campaign. This monthly payment is automatically collected through PayPal. Payments can be made by credit card, debit card or by check. This reduces the cost of record keeping and helps maintain our low charge for this service. We pay the PayPal fee for this payment.

You may cancel your affiliation at any time and stop making payments at any time you wish. There is no obligation to continue you affiliation with Marriage Centers.

Second, when you participate in our 8 Hour Marriage and Relationship Educational Group Class at your Marriage Center, we will deposit the fee you have decided to charge couples for the course directly into your PayPal account. This avoids long waits for out of town checks to clear and reduces costs. All fees associated with this payment become the responsibility of the Affiliate and is automatically deducted from the payment.

2. What fee can I charge a couple for the 8 Hour Education Course.
The Marriage Centers program is unique. As an Affiliate you have complete control over what FEE your clients will pay. It can range from no fee at all ($.0.00) up to a maximum of $ 165.00 per couple. When you complete the online location of you class, you include the fee you will be charging. There is a ($30.00) processing fee that will be added to the Fee you have decided to charge. This means that the minimum charge a couple must pay when they register is $30.00.

You as the independent Marriage Affiliate have the freedom to subsidize the couple by refunding the mandatory fee of $30.00.

3. Why do we require participants of the 8 Hour Group Course to register on line?

First, we recommend that each Marriage Educator Affiliate conduct their 8 Hour Course with Ten (10) Couples in attendance. This provides the optimum interaction of couples keeping the class lively and removes the tension from the couple that prefers to limit their participation.

Your Marriage Center registration may not meet this 10 couple level. We will monitor registration in you area and suggest that a combined class with another Affiliate may provide a larger class.

Second, Pre-registration and payment of the course fee confirms that the couple will attend the class. This eliminates the uncertainty of class size. It also provides you the names and vital information of the couple. We notify you when a couple has registered and the payment has been received.

When you have completed your registration you can access the member area of the site. The general public cannot view this area.
